Gaydon 2015
MTACR had another good turnout for the BMC & Leyland Show at Gaydon on 5th July with ten owners bringing their cars along to celebrate 55 years of the Traveller and Countryman models. In addition to having one of the rare Cooper S Travellers on display again this year, we were also delighted to welcome back the oldest known surviving Countryman (the 12th one built!) as well as to see some new faces.

MTACR members enjoyed a sunny morning relaxing and chatting to each other, before the picnics came out - some more elaborate than others!  One visitor to our stand commented on the "garden party" atmosphere.  This being the event where we had chosen to celebrate the 55th birthday of the Traveller and Countryman, at 1 o'clock we all met up under the gazebo for birthday cake, suitably decorated with a cherry red internal tank Woody.

A shower in the afternoon gave us all a good excuse to visit the museum.

Thank you to everyone who came along.  Hope you had a good day.
