BMC & Leyland Show 2014
MTACR had a fine turnout at the 2014 BMC & Leyland show at Gaydon.

We were lucky enough to have the electric Countryman on loan from the Abbey Pumping Station museum in Leicester and the car was waiting at Gaydon for us when we arrived to set up the MTACR stand.  He really was the star of the show and attracted a lot of attention all day.

As usual MTACR members enjoyed parking up on the stand, getting their picnics out and chatting to each other, as well as having time to see the museum and the rest of the show.  We had 9 cars on the stand this year, with a 10th Woody hijacked for the concours.  I don't think Boyce and Trish were that impressed that they needed to clean their Woody and take all their belongings out for judging, but hope that coming away with 2nd in class and the trophy for best presented Mini made it worthwhile!
